Multi Exam Preparation provides digital educational access, including mock tests and related features. Because digital access may become available immediately after successful payment, refund eligibility depends on the actual payment and access circumstances.
Scope of This Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to eligible paid digital access purchased directly through Multi Exam Preparation.
It should be read together with our:
If a purchase is processed under a separate third-party arrangement, additional provider rules may apply.
Nature of Digital Access
Paid plans provide access to digital educational services for the validity period displayed at the time of purchase.
For example, the platform may offer a ₹29 plan for 30 days. The exact price, validity and included features shown before payment govern the relevant purchase.
Digital access may be activated shortly after successful payment confirmation. Once access has been delivered, the service may already be available for use even if the user chooses not to use it.
Cases Generally Eligible for Refund Review
A refund request may generally be considered in situations such as:
Potentially Eligible Cases
- The same transaction or purchase was charged more than once due to a verified duplicate payment.
- Payment was successfully completed, but the purchased access was not activated, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable period after receiving sufficient transaction information.
- A verified technical or billing error caused an incorrect charge.
- An amount materially different from the displayed purchase amount was charged because of a verified platform-side or processing error.
- Refund is otherwise required under applicable law.
Eligibility depends on verification. Submission of a request does not automatically guarantee approval.
Cases Generally Not Eligible for Refund
Subject to applicable law, refunds are generally not provided merely because:
Generally Non-Refundable Situations
- You changed your mind after digital access was successfully delivered.
- You purchased a plan accidentally but access was correctly activated and made available.
- You did not use the plan during its validity period.
- You forgot to use the service before access expired.
- You expected a particular examination score, rank, percentile or result.
- You were dissatisfied with your own mock-test performance.
- You failed an examination or recruitment process.
- Your device, browser or internet connection prevented normal use while the platform itself remained reasonably available.
- Your account was restricted because of serious or repeated violation of the Terms & Conditions.
- You misunderstood clearly displayed plan validity or included features.
Nothing in this section is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Duplicate Payments
If the same intended purchase is successfully charged more than once, contact us with the relevant transaction details.
After verification, the unintended duplicate charge may be refunded while the valid intended purchase remains active.
Multiple separate purchases intentionally made by the user are not automatically treated as duplicate payments.
Successful Payment but Access Not Activated
If your payment is confirmed as successful but the purchased access does not activate, contact us promptly.
We may first attempt to:
- Verify the transaction
- Correct account mapping
- Restore or activate purchased access
- Resolve a payment-status synchronization issue
Resolution Before Refund
Where the purchase is valid, we may first attempt to deliver or restore the purchased access. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable period after verification, the transaction may become eligible for refund review.
Failed, Pending or Reversed Payments
A payment may sometimes appear as failed, pending, reversed or debited without immediate confirmation.
In such cases:
- Do not immediately make repeated payments without checking transaction status.
- Review your bank, UPI app or payment provider status.
- Allow reasonable time for automatic reversal where the transaction failed.
- Contact us if the amount remains debited and the purchase is not activated.
Some failed payments may be automatically reversed by the bank, UPI system, card network or payment provider without a separate refund being initiated by us.
How to Request a Refund Review
Send your request to:
Identify Your Account
Provide the email address associated with your platform account.
Provide Transaction Details
Include transaction ID, payment date, approximate time and amount.
Explain the Issue
Clearly state whether the problem is duplicate payment, missing activation, incorrect charge or another billing issue.
Add Relevant Evidence
Where useful, attach a screenshot showing payment status. Hide unrelated sensitive financial information.
Never Send These Details
Do not send OTPs, CVVs, UPI PINs, passwords, complete debit or credit card numbers, or other authentication secrets.
Time Limit for Refund Requests
To allow timely transaction verification, refund-related requests should generally be submitted within 7 calendar days of the relevant payment.
Requests submitted later may still be reviewed where required by applicable law or where the circumstances reasonably justify delayed reporting.
Why Prompt Reporting Matters
Delayed reporting can make it harder to verify gateway logs, duplicate charges, access activation status and transaction records.
Review and Processing Time
We aim to review complete refund requests within a reasonable period after receiving sufficient information.
A request may take longer where:
- Transaction verification is pending
- Information is incomplete
- Payment-provider confirmation is required
- Fraud or duplicate-payment checks are needed
- A bank or external provider is involved
If a refund is approved and initiated, the time for the amount to appear in your account depends on the payment method, bank and payment provider.
Refund Method
Where reasonably possible, an approved refund will generally be sent back through the original payment method or payment route used for the transaction.
We may request reasonable verification if technical or payment-provider limitations make the original route unavailable.
Users should not send sensitive banking credentials through ordinary email.
Fraudulent or Abusive Refund Requests
We may investigate patterns suggesting misuse, including:
- False duplicate-payment claims
- Manipulated screenshots
- Repeated purchase-use-refund abuse
- Fraudulent charge disputes
- Attempts to retain paid access after a refunded transaction
- Misrepresentation of transaction status
Where reasonably justified, abusive or fraudulent activity may result in rejection of the request, access restrictions or other appropriate action, subject to applicable law.
If a paid transaction is refunded, the related paid access may be cancelled or adjusted.
Applicable Consumer Rights
This Refund Policy is intended to operate subject to applicable laws of India.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, waive or restrict rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Where applicable law requires a refund or another remedy despite a provision in this policy, the applicable legal requirement will prevail.
Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy when payment systems, plan structures, platform features or applicable requirements change.
The Last Updated date displayed on this page may be revised when changes are made.
A refund request will be assessed according to the relevant circumstances, applicable law and the policy terms reasonably applicable to the transaction.
